if you had a room mate.. who had a job when they first moved in and then lost it the day after, but had a co-signer, (whose reliability is unknown at this point), what would you do?

if that same room mate, spent 4 weeks "looking" for a job, spending all sorts of money on computer games and hot pockets, what would you think?

that same room mates computer breaks, and he starts behaving less like a recluse and more like a human being, he starts going outside and running errands, thats good right?

then..he gets his computer back... and everything goes to hell. the job search stops, a lease is still not signed, rent and utilities are given only after asking multiple times close to the deadlines.

THEN the room mate who spends 60 hours in 3 days on the computer, rarely coming out, not walking his DOG and THEN HAS THE BALLS TO FILE FOR UNEMPLOYMENT WHEN HIS MOTHER IS PAYING HIS BILLS, RENT AND UTILITIES.

WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

I'm debating telling him he needs to find somewhere else to live. When i started looking for a room mate for my apartment I was looking for a clear minded ,responsible ADULT. not someone who needs to be told when to get off the fucking computer. With his actions, i have no idea if he is going to continue in college even though he is supposedly registered. He is a nice enough guy but he understands nothing of social cues or actions. He rarely leaves his room in 24 hours except maybe to shower sometimes. His dog defecates and urinates in the apartment, constantly. despite me saying something about it multiple times. His diet consists of hot pockets, fridays microwave dinners and mountain dew.

i dont know what to do.
