You're probably right ... but "podcast" as a medium has no meaning for me. You might as well be talking about "channeling" or "leznerizing." Podcasts are a form of online communication I've never listened to and have not, for whatever reason, been tempted to bother with since I have so many things to do already.

It's like radio but on the Internet! You can listen to them in the background as you do other things. I often listen to  podcastigation while engaged in other work! It is the best way to add some joy and laughter to any day! And, best of all, it's FREE!

Normally, I just stew in my own thoughts, but if I want noise or the sound of another voice in the background, my choice has been music. The thought of listening to 100 amateurish podcasts for a minute in order to find one gem has been about as attractive as pulling hairs out of my nose, hoping to find the one hair that's really a diamond stick-pin. I barely exaggerate.

But... maybe... I'll give a listen. It had better be more than lame fan humour, like I imagine most such stuff, though. Also, I hope there's no problem with YouTube style stopping and starting of the audio.

What? This thing is live and I have to be tuned in at a particular time on Fridays? I'll forget this before midnight tonight, I guarantee!

I envy you, getting to listen to SHOW for the first time! I've already head all the episodes, so I can only dream of the time that I head them for the first time. Oh, how I laughed! I couldn't make out a word of whoever that was on the phone. That was someone on the phone, wasn't it? Apart from that, this was like listening to some fans talking in the booth next to you in a sit-down pizza parlor. I'm afraid it's not my cup of tea ... or can of Brio.

No, that's the one I tried to listen to and that they announced a guest (who seemed to be talking over a phone -- maybe it was an audio internet connection of some sort, but it wasn' easy for me to follow.)

One way of putting it is that Bronies are to Furries what Furries were to SF fans at one time. (Someone to look down on from slightly higher position on the pecking order.) In actual fact, I'm beginning to wonder if there's any difference between a Brony and 80% of Furries, o whether it's the same animal.

I hate bronies if only because I have to wade through not-very-anthropomorphic-horse-porn with cylinders for hands, to find the things I DO want to see.

it's more that furries are a diverse group of terrible people (with a growing number of GOOD people) and Bronies are just ONE kind of terrible people. They are sexist overly-masculine shitheads. Can a brony NOT be that? No, because it's in the fucking name: BRO-ny. If male fans of MLP want to distance themselves from these shitty people they need to drop the BRONY name first. Totally DUDEBRO jockheads are not going to leave your community and will continue to make rape jokes and draw Flutterdash with a drippy horse cunt. Anyone who would feel so threatened by femininity to have to slap BRO in their name has got some major insecurities that need to be checked.

None of my remarks or reactions are meant to be a put-down of pod-casts -- despite my skepticism that most of them are amateurish. It just isn't my cup of tea ... I don't listen to talk radio either.

Ha, I used to read Sinfest until 2009 or so? Its predictability was a reliable port in the rough seas of webcomics. The cartoonist should have followed D.C. Simpson's lead and toned down the preachiness -- she's now a syndicated cartoonist while he's still stuck in webcomic purgatory.
