When I read the first sentence, I was a little reluctant to read the rest.

It's simply common sense to act like an adult in public, even I know that and I'm 14. When I go to furmeets I act on my most civil behavior and most modest nature.

It's more along the lines of how you were raised versus "those damn kids". I get comments from older furs all the time about how great I act! .o.

Anyways, I agree. I started going to furmeets about a year ago and I've noticed recently that things have started to go downhill. What ever happened to having manners?

I would like to state that I am not lumping all "kids" in one category, as I know some "adults" can be part of the problem as well. It is just that lately it has been more youth causing a problem than older folks. I thank you for your maturity at these meets and it is appreciated by others as well.

I didn't mean to come off as if I was saying, "DIMA, STOP GROUPING THOSE DAMN KIDS TOGETHER, JEEZ", oops. ovo;;

The big question is, why has it started happening more recently? What provoked people to start acting this way? It wasn't acceptable in the past.

I take it not going to the meet might have been a good idea? I've noticed more and more noisy and obnoxious people seem to be going to the meets...and it isn't a good thing. It's like going to a meet to show your support for something...then someone walks in screaming support it or die and start swinging a machete around. It just doesn't look good, nor is it enjoyable.

If the kids don't have the manners or the civility to act like a mature human being then they shouldn't be attending them. While I'm not saying people should act up tight but people need to realize that they are in a public place and the actions they take effect the rest of the group. Until people realize this it might as well be just one big party for them. It does make you wonder how they are going to act later on in life.

All that aside why not have a meet for adults or people who don't make a fool of them selves in public?

Is it too late to shake them? I don't know if their brain has either hasn't fully developed or at a stage of unoccupied reasoning.

I know I am a little late but jesus. I was at my first mee about 5-6 months ago and it was so much fun, you and taru were having a great time, there were sooo many furs there and not many people were talking loud inside. its so weird that it happened so quickly within 5-6 months....people should just stop inviting people lol. or at least tell them to be mature when they go...
