I like Boo, she's quite unique! maybe you just need to try drawing different characters. maybe that'll help you get out of your rut.

brightness is just the problem... im not a bright and happy person most the time. im going to try a new design i had been thinking of last night

Maybe you should try experimenting and try to find someone you do enjoy drawing. I have more than one fursona. Sirberus is who I generally am, but sometimes there are others. It can help when I'm just not feeling "like him", if that makes sense. It means I have someone else to be until I feel like him again.

Not sure if that helps at all, but basically, find someone you like to draw, and maybe you will either realize it's the way you want her, or it's someone else and you will come back for her later.
