I have a virus... it is detected by my AVAST, but every time I 'delete' or 'move to chest' my computer crashes. System restore didn't work either, but ill try again for the hell of it. I really hope my computer doesn't flatline. Will keep my niggletts posted. Time for Boom to sleep now i guess.
Your other option is to get your hard drive wiped clean which will delete everything! including your OS so make sure you can reinstall it or install a new one. Export files you want to keep onto a thumb drive. You will also need the disks that install the drivers on your pc. Your motherboard and graphics card should have separate disks for this.
Your other option is to invest in new computer protection. Swapping your current protection with new protection may make the virus become corrupted data which is easier to remove. That really depends on what virus you have. If its a porn virus, that's going to be a difficult fucker to get rid of.
Safe mode is the best way and the virus is most likely located in your appdata folder. Either under roaming or one of the local sub folders or all 3.

You could try and download ComboFix run in safe mode then use that.
Once scanned with combofix you can then use AVAST or Malwarebytes.

If you see the virus name, try googling about it and see what it does and how to remove it.
But my biggest advice is do NOT log into important accounts (i.e banking/paypal/ect) on that computer.
Because if it can get a hold of your passwords thats going to make things even more worse.
But i also recomend that you backup your stuff, do a clean install of windows on another hard drive or create a partition just for the OS on your HDD (SSD w/e) just to keep it safe. becuse by doing that virus will most of the time just F your OS partition Up preserving your files.
