You bought an item from electronics and it took you two months (or longer) to decide you didn't want/need it?
I fucking hate you.
You bought a game, movie, or a cd and tried to return it because you didn't like it but you were too stupid to rent it or look it up on youtube.
I fucking hate you.
You attempted to steal an item from electronics.
I fucking hate you.
You stole items from electronics.
I fucking hate you.
You returned an item but replaced the insides with rocks and got away with it because the front desk was too stupid to check the box.
I fucking hate you.
You feel entitled to be treated special because you think you spend lots of money in my store.
I fucking hate you.
You say, "Oh it must be free" when something doesn't scan.
I fucking hate you.
You try and write me a bad check and think I won't catch it.
I fucking hate you.
You call me over the phone and try and condescend to me because you think you know more than me.
I fucking hate you.
You ask me a question even though you think you know the answer and then try and tell me how I'm wrong by giving me your fucking retarded ass ideas.

You tell me you didn't know our return policy when you try and bring something back.
I fucking hate you.
You didn't bother to research the product you bought and are obviously too stupid to learn how to work it.

You call me up even though we are not technicians to ask me how to hook up your tv because you're too stupid to figure it out.

You act surprised when you are told we only have a 30 day return policy even though we have it posted at every register and any electronics store as a 15-30 day return policy and it has been that way for the past 10 years.

You bring back merchandise that smells like an ashtray and expect to return it.

You come into my department and smell like BO

This is all legitimate shit that I have experienced, sometimes every day. This is retail. THIS. IS. REAL. And for every customer who has put me through one of these situations?! Fuck you. I seriously, fucking hate you.

But yea, youre coworkers will make or break the job for you. If they make it fun its easy to laugh and make fun of the assholes. Otherwise if they are stiff and old it might be a bit more difficult to deal with.
THE BIGGEST THING TO REMEMBER-
DO NOT EVER TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY. Half the time people don't even REALIZE how much of a dickbag they are being. Just remember to keep calm, take a deep breath and if you ever feel like you can't handle the situation, thats why there are people like me :D Just calmly let the customer know that you would rather have someone else handle the situation. Don't raise your voice, as a matter of fact if you lower your voice and become quieter they will follow suit.
