I was thinking that some of the FAP artists that left in 2006 because of the cub art episode give this site another chance.

The thing I liked about FAP is its excellent search engine.

And of course those hat feel there dicks are three times as big because of it all.

Yeah....i've already seen some art about it already <.< Dunno...seems kinda disrespectful but eh. can't really expect much, thats how people just are in our times.

well, dont just coe here to say that, do it on another journal.....I cared for it cause it use to let me get away from this place when it was all crazy. It was a second home for me. Now just have this place....and I can only but leave all together when the crazy button is turned on......just to come back to se people still act the way they do. I still dont trust the people over this place, but I have no where else to post my adult art to show people who never seen my art before. I, unlike other people, judge something until I see it or try it for myself, and I liked fap for its quiet laid back feel. But now I just have the main stream and now I have lost allot a friends specially some that dont come hear.... You might not have cared, *nor used it much* but I did. it just sad to see both sids act soo fuckin immaturely

The only thing I ever said about the whole FA vs FAP arguement when it all originally started was a post that was basically a 'shut up' to both sides. Right now I'm just looking for another site to set up as my backup location.

There's still YiffStar, VCL, Artspots, DA, etc. etc. There's no need to be elitist and stay on one only.

Oh there are a bunch of things wrong with FA, it's not some sparkling shell of greatness.

Now, my only beef was with the sole admin of FAP, not FAP itself. I'm really hoping FAP will rise again under new administration (there were some people wanting the source code and will more than likely start a new site out of that).

I hardly speak highly of FA (you can check my posts out on lulz.net if you don't believe me), you could call me elitist towards YifffStar, that I don't mind, cause that's the one I think is the sparkling shell of sparkles.

The reason I think you're an elitist, is because there was, without a doubt, no other gallery you were willing to try or give a chance to, it was FAP all the way and no other.

see, this is my problem, you talk all normally when talking to me, just like on FAP, but then when you talk to someone else you hardly try to be biased with it, then you tried to make me seem like an elitist, which quite frankly is not true at all. And about that, I do give other galleries a chance. I Have a Furnation, DA, SA,FA, FAP an Artspots *recently started* and a Yiffstar *started but never posted anything there for a year or so* the reason Ive said those about the ones about the ones youve listed is because all I see half the time are the names of the really good artist, or those are mainly the ones that I see when I look for the site, speciall with VCL because they have no system set p to show what new art others have posted on the main page, which leaves the viewer on their own to find them. SA is where I got my start and FA was themost active *due to the setu of the net here at college* and i could never get to the other sites so i have no way to do anything to them.

and also, saying I told you so can be be taken the wrong way, which happens half the time. But was it nessisary to do what youe done on my FAP account? seemed like you were trying to get the last laugh of something. thats another thing that will make people go off. why did you do that? couldnt you send me a PM on FA or FAP, you was that youre plan to just post it there?

The VCL Sieve, like I said before, allows you to view all the recently uploaded pictures. Hitting the skull at the first right removes that person from ever appearing again, and to save that change, all you have to do is bookmark the page.

bigshow has been here on FA for basically over a year, I'm baffled how you think of him as a new resident that cared only for a foreign site.

oddly, I don't know anything about FAP other than it was a semi-decent site and it was a shame it is gone. fortunatly the artists from there are coming here, and hopefully if we ever do get a chance to talk with them idiots like you won't constantly insult them for having existed on another website.

funny thing is, doesn't everyone originate from some other website? I existed surprisingly on myspace before coming here, and that is not even an art site.

yeah I been here for a while now. been here from the ater part of the FA slit up and the 6 month hiatus, been here through the rip up of the admins and the rise of dragoneer, been here through all the dumb ass memes fads and whatnot, and been here for every outage there has ever been on FA. Started on SA, been there from the NO ADULT ART rule and then the anime freaks and 13 year olds with no understanding of life *and IM still there, just not active.* Deviant art is where I post my rail fan pictures and random art. and FA is for Adult art *fap was my alternative site* and now I got on Yiffstar *for the time being*. I try to keep at least two of the same type of art sites open in case one goes out. But I still dont fool with VCL too much. Its like its been the same old site since I first seen it in my freshman year in high school and thats been over 5 years now I think. They really should give that place a big upgrade to bring it into the new age. I just need to give my SA account a boost and it would all be updated

And I know what you mean about the VCL thing, it could really use a change, but, I don't think they can do it (just too much stuff in that site and that's what it's known for).

Is SheezyArt any good these days? Just a bit disturbed by the fact that their own admins didn't take the time to read the TOS from their service provider to really trust them.

lol well, sheezy has its ups and downs.....just too many kids there that have nothing better to do than say your art sucks or is sick because you draw boobs and not DBZ character beig gay. But aside form that SA is nice normal and kinda laid back, just dont look for some of the higher ups to be there. Some are some arnt some are semi there, but i dunno you'll have to look for yourself. and well, I only heard about the Ygallery think from others, and Im lucky I avoided that one.

The YGallery one incident wasn't _that_ bad, but when you stop allowing a whole section of art to be uploaded it won't be taken light heartedly.

I agree with you hun, i liked FAP alot more then FA, at least on FAP i had a chance someone might stumble upon my stuff accidentally becasue it stayed on the main page longer then five seconds.

hell here the only thing i get is a fav and two view on stuff.. and normaly that view is the artist...
