Dogs are like kids

By the way you may wonder why you never see any inside pictures with the dogs. Well unfortunately our house is not suited for hyperactive dogs. Clementine actually snuck in not too long ago and made the kitchen and the dining room into a mess. She also got into the chicken bucket and ate the chicken treats. She's a super excellent dog outside, on the farm, on walks, at the park, in public, but inside she destroys everything. She also took shoes from the shoe rack and took them outside so I had to bring those all back in.
I love her like I love my chickens but every good parent has to discipline their kids. She did get a whump on the snout and a firm talking to, she knew exactly what my energy was like and acted accordingly. She knew that I was frustrated and worn out from getting shoes and cleaning her mess. She had her ears down the whole time and gave me that "I'm sorry" look. There is a lot of decor and expensive items in my house, I just can't afford her to mess any of it up. Most of it is from my mother's side and over seas, passed down from generation to generation. There are a lot of crystal decor and flowers, porcelain figures, furniture, etc. Thankfully this time she only went for the kitchen and the dining room. Unfortunately she did get Mochiko powder all over the carpet by ripping open the box.
Luckily I don't get extreme temps where I am so I have no need to worry. I also have a hardy dog that can bear it, unlike a chihuahua or other rat dog. Sorry for my ranting but it's not easy raising around 60 chickens, 3 dogs, and now 2 goats. The goats are actually pretty easy.
