My Poor Fish
So I've had an aquarium for as long as I can remember. The current one I have is only 25 gallons and I have 3 goldfish in there. I know I'm over traditional limit of fish I should have in there but they're reasonably small compared to other goldfish I've had.
One is a black moor, Micheal to be exact. Micheal Moor, get it eh eh! I've had him for almost 6 years now and hes been a healthy happy fishie, accept for the fact he was black and is now solid gold, not a speck of black on him. So after research it seems my Mr. Moor is a Mrs. Moor and shes in spawning colors. I think.
ANYWAY the other fish are traditional fancy goldfish, one a butterfly fin, and one a very short finned ryukin. Both are under 2 inches in body length. Since I've added the smaller short finned ryukin (Tank is his official name but I call him Small Fin) my tank has had issues.
It stared with ammonia burn on 2 of the 3 fish. I did a water change, added ammonia remover crystals to the filter and bought an ammonia reader for the tank. Problem solved. Shortly after that I noticed fussy spots on the same 2 fish, so I treated for Fungus and in 5 days that was all fixed up. I did my partial water changed, switched out the carbon and that was that.
NOW I have cloudy water. The ammonia is reading normal so I'm assuming its the Nitrates and Nitrites. But the water change I did was only 20% and I did not clean out my filter at the same time, I only replaced the carbon, not the sponge or BioMax crystals.
So I just cleaned out my filter completely, changed everything out of it and added my air stone back into the tank to help add in some oxygen and increase the current to aid in filtration. If the water is still fuzzy lookin come morning I'll perform a 10% water change and see how that goes.
I pride myself in being a really knowledgeable fish owner/hobbyist. But these last few weeks have been really hard since adding in the newer member to my tank. Hopefully everything evens out and I dont lose anyone. These guys have been with me for years! Kinda attached to em ya know?
So anyone else into fishes here? Particularly goldfish who've had similar issues?

Shows what I know..
I wish, I wish I knew more about fish...
Now you know! Cuz knowledge is power!
When I was 16 I went away for a birthday and my mom over fed my fish and killed em before I got back from my holiday. When I was 22 the same thing happened. Now my mother is SUPER careful with my fish and feeding them, only feeding them once a day not 32 times "Cuz they're so cute!" *rolls eyes* LOL.
My tank doesn't get algae because of the placement in my room. I've left the glass for months and never had a green speck grow. Instead I get a fine little mildew residue on the glass, but nothing major. Thus I've never been able to keep snails alive let along Pleco's. The last Pleco I had tried to eat my fish by swimming upside down and sucking on their scales. And the last snail I had committed suicide by crawling up the intake for my filter in an attempt to find food to eat... It was actually really really sad cuz I love snails.
But! I have had the cloudy water problem, once, and for the problem, I used accu-clear from API. It cleared the tank in about 4 hours.
Mind you, all I have in my tank is about 8 silver mollies, 2 danios, a clown loach, a male betta, a albino pleco and two rock shrimp (which I'm amazed that are both still alive after all this time).
I may pick up some Accu-Clear tonight from work if its not getting better. My fish seem okay, no ones struggling to breathe or swim. Just annoying is all!
