FUCK! I'm 30!

GODDAMMIT! FUCK YOU, TIME!
So yeah, Happy Birthday to me. I feel a bit bummed out that I haven't really.... achieved much (being a kickass artist doesn't count if it's pretty much just commissions, I figure. I mean like, major projects, books, games, shit like that). but things are kinda starting to line up to get me out of my dayjob and having more time to work on art, and possibly start something awesome independent of my commissions. We'll see how things line up.
However, I ain't doing SHIT today. I'll get back to hammering on commissions later. I'll be posting some of the stuff I've completed in the next few days for your enjoyment.

(Also, I was a hunting trip accident, so the thought of people getting down and makin' babies doesn't bother me much. XD)

Honestly, I still feel younger than that too...partly due to stay in somewhat decent shape via exercise and from being kinda laid-back in general. Age is just a number, after all! :)

it's hard but yeah, everyone gets older D: i don't wanna get old T-T
And think about it this way. People live til they're in their 80s-100s these days, its not like it was 50 or 100 years ago when people needed to accomplish all in their life by the time they were 30. With how much more there seems to be to do in life these days, hat time frame's been stretched to 40 and 50. =) Best wishes.
make a portfolio of your best work
Keep it simple, and keep it in one like IE character design, Environmental Design, or just Art.
go to Game conventions like pax or E3 get a in a small booth for Artists for hire. Get known.
And be sure you have allot of contacts. Advertise on forums and or Art pages.
Perhaps make a web site to show your portfolio.

If it makes you feel any better: it's a scientific fact that if you have more birthdays you live longer :P
given enough time everyone levels up whether it is a game or life so be happy that you survived long enough to hit Level 30
