I prefer doing things I can't normally do. What fun is it to do the same as in real life?

True on that account. It's far more fun to do things you can't do. But then sometimes you get into a position where some of the things done are just outlandish. If you're trying to make a fun story out of it, then it kind of gets dull when you can pretty much be superman without the weaknesses. In a realistic RP you can still do things you can't normally, but then there are limits to keep a person from going too far.

I didn't mean it like that. Yes that can get dull, but some unconventional thinking was more in regard. Being a God char is where Paranoia shines.

True that. I used to be a God modder thanks to starting with people that were the same way. I'm still trying to purge myself of that kind of crap.

Otherwise yeah. I wasn't speaking of reenacting your life in it. I meant more to keep silly things like lightning bolts and the like out of the mix. But you can still take down an army with good aim and the drive to do so!

Honestly I don't mind what kind of RP I do, but I'm a bit more prone to fantasy settings/stuff. One of my favorites is where it starts off in a normal enough setting, but eventually some fantasy elements pop in every so often

An RP I did a long while back with my fur bro was one of my favorites over the years. It involved a couple of our characters somehow switching places with an alternate version of themselves. Both normal and fantasy involved, with a good bit of weirdness

that's the kind of mild fantasy I kind of like. and also the way I like an RP to start off. Though I tend to Harry Potter it. Those that have skills no normal person can do keeps the rest of the normal people from knowing about it...like a secret society!

I also hear ya on the switching versions. My own character has two versions that run in different timelines. I....just haven't gotten to posting the picture that shows it yet.
