So I'm welcoming myself in to the community just fine, but I feel a bit of vehemence in making this my thing. I made this profile to get in touch with a part of myself I've stifled for a long time out of fear and ignorance. Not only that, but now I have an excuse to write. I have found a creative outlet that I hope to utilize in some way.

Being a furry, being brought in to the fandom so warmly I feel like none of this could have been possible without the confidence I gained because of a handful of good friends. My friends are cool enough to show their tails in public and be themselves when it would otherwise seem less wise. I still fear for being myself, even around my good friends.
