So every morning a male cardinal at like 5:30 starts singing out side my bedroom window and wakes me up. It has been doing this for the pats few years now, but only during the spring and summer. What really bothers me is how inconsistint this type of bird is when it sings. It's never in the same tune or pattern, and it bugs the crap out of me. Now this bird; I swear to god, is playing right into this.
It well cherp three times then whistle twice, then cherp 3 times and then not whistle, or will whistle twice after cherping three times but pause for a moment in between at a different tempo. All while I'm half asleep at like 6 or 5:30 in the morning.
Any way I've been trying to kill this little fucker for the past 2 years. It lives in the tree right outside my bedroom window. I've been using my pellet gun it is pretty accurate but I think it's lethal within 30 feet. So now I think I should use my shot gun. The biggest thing is it is a serious felony to kill this type of bird I'm trying to kill. It's my States bird and It's federally protected so it doesn't turn into an endangered species because it's so rare. Lucky me huh? It's worth the risk though. It must die. I can not take it any more.
