Let's see, what happened this month....
My sister got married. She's known the guy for 3 months. We like him, we just wish they would have waited til they got to know each other better. They only got papers done, no wedding or honeymoon yet. But it kinda works out, because it would've been harder if they hadn't eloped, because he's Egyptian and Muslim, and my mother's family is full of southern christian racists. :/ So now they can't dispute it.
I'm getting ahead in my art classes. Not that this is bad, it just gives me more time to do other projects.
Berry visited. I'm not one to kiss and tell, though, so none of those questions. >:C He did get me a distracting necklace, though. x3
I'm now fostering two very shy rats. One has mycoplamsa, which is, in short, a special kind of URI, so he has to have all these drugs. Luckily, he likes them. Now of I can only get them to like me... xD
I also attended my local Marriage Equality rally. I held up a sign saying, "Homosexuality in at least 151 species, homophobia in 1. It's NATURAL." Thought it was pretty clever. My UU Reverend (weird to call him that, since he's a Secularist...) spoke on how religion shouldn't dictate who can and can't marry in a secular country, be it on sex, race, or religion. Some people remember the race bit, but I had never thought of the religion bit. Then they followed him up with a pastor, who started his whole damn speech with, "We are all God's children," and I just thought, "Thanks for asking if I was a christian, dude. Because, ya know, this is the south, and there's obviously no non-christians. Especially not the one that JUST spoke before you. Nope." My UU people also put up a banner. That's something I like about them, they are very active in the queer community; they don't just say they are, they act on their words.
My counselor got a missionary offer in Africa, so I've transferred to a new one. She's in the practice, so automatically christian, but my past counselor said they have a similar method, so I like that. I just hope she keeps her religion out of it.
My hemorrhoid is back, so I'm going to have to go see a gastrologist :/
How is everyone praising her Ladyship, Ishtar, the Goddess of Fertility, tomorrow? ;p

oh ho ho and looks like some things are looking up for you too >u>
oooh I should hold up a sign like that too! I'm going to my first rally in a few weeks!! :D
I almost kind of want to put up a pro-christian-marriage-equality poster too because I feel like people forget that there ARE religious people who support marriage equality...
and crap man I hope you take care of that hemorrhoid soon <:{
I'm praising her with some church listening and egg hunting XD stereotypical, am I right?
;o
MMMMhm. We had those.
Me, too. >.<
Haha! My church celebrated by exchanging colorful sexual organs (flowers).
I was thinking of making my sign "God Loves Gays" but idk XD
wait church what? and YAAAAY SOFT BRIGHT SEX ORGANS MMMMM XD
Lol, Jesus did hang with them. Did you ever watch The Bible Tells Me So?
I go to a Unitarian Universalist church, which is a place to help people find their way, as long as that isn't blowing people up or the like. XD We have christians, atheist, pagans, jews, bhuddists, and some minorities I forgot the name for. XD Our Reverend is a Secularist, and makes sure the sermons apply to everyone. We have a roman-esque forum before where we discuss a serious topic (like last week's, "The War on Boys.")
I did know that but no I haven't o: never even heard of it.
ah, okay c: I didn't realize that was a church because that sounds fantastic~
Though I hear most of them are just modified christian churches. -shrugs- Maybe there's one near you.
I doubt it <:{
