Would you be interested in participating in a group picture?

Many of you will remember that shortly before Christmas we posted a journal asking for your references in order to create a Christmas group picture. Unfortunately, due to health problems and eventual species change, the artist was unable to complete the project and has since left us.
Fortunately, we have not let the idea vanish, and have been considering commissioning another artist for a group picture. The theme will likely be a summer theme, as this is when we anticipate the piece being commissioned. The project would be open to all the cross foxes of the group.
However, unlike the last project, this one will require some expense on our part. Hence, we would like to know if anyone would be inclined to participate if it involved a financial contribution to the project? Until we find an artist and work details out with them, we cannot say for sure how much this would be per person, but we would be looking for a quality piece that would provide everyone with good value for money.
Furthermore, as we are unsure of which artists to go for, we would really appreciate it if you could recommend any to us. One of the group’s admins could then approach various artists to try and work out details; we could then leave it to a group vote to decide which artist to go for if more than one expresses an interest!
So, please let us know the following in the comments section below:
1) If you are interested in participating, whether or not it involves a financial contribution from yourself.
2) If you would be prepared to make a contribution yourself to the project – either to pay for your place in the piece, or in a ‘chip-in’ system.
3) Any artists you recommend.
Please respond as soon as you can so we can start to make enquiries; any comments left after 21st April (new, extended deadline) may not have their artist recommendation considered, so do please be as prompt as you can.

The plan we hope to stick with (the usual locusts and tornado disclaimer applies) is to ask the recommended artists whether they are interested and available, then list those that said they could do it up for participants to vote. :)

2) I would be willing to chip in a little bit. But I'm a poor college kid, so it wouldn't be much.
3) As for artists that I recommend, how about these fine folks:
Finding an artist for such a big picture is tough, especially on a budget. A lot of the artists I'm seeing listed here and recognize would probably charge $35 to $90 per character for flat/base colours.
Have it a collage of artists. Allow various artists to contribute to one huge collaborative piece. This will allow everyone to get an artist/style they like most, as well as resulting in a very unique end-image!
On the other, though, it'd be a nightmare to organize, make sure all the drawings can fit together, and so on; and besides, I think it'd go a bit against the spirit of a "common" picture.
