Well, here goes about 3 or more of my watchers... >.-.<; Man I feel like such a hypocrite...ANYWAYS.
I have come to the conclusion after being in the furry fandom for roughly 4-5 years; dragons as a whole seem to have a pretty significant inferiority complex issue.
Some even go so far as to think of all other furries or scalies as inferior (dragonkin, if you want the technical term). I can honestly say out of the 12-16 dragon anthros I've met and known over these 4+ years, only FOUR consider all furries and scalies equal. And that's just the ones I've gotten to know; I've looked at a dozen more dragons' journals and responses and one of them seemed to be halfway decent, or even only slightly arrogant, for that matter.
I admit that this isn't a super-accurate ratio, and I am by no means saying every dragon anthro is a high-and-mighty asshole; I'm just saying there's a disturbingly-high amount that ARE. Which brings me to the second and final topic.
FROM HERE ON, I AM NO LONGER A DRAGON. This does NOT mean I am changing any of my physical appearance (other than removing the wings and possibly adding some minor things); I am simply sick of being a part of the dragon species, mainly because of how other furries are treated by them, and therefore are expecting to be treated by me.
I honestly don't know what to call my species other than the world that I was created on; Marsahlian. So if anyone would like to help, I'd be more than happy to take advice.
One more thing; if you're going to bitch about my reasons or anything, I'll be happy to bitch right back. Thanks! ^.-.^

I've had bad experiences with dragonkin. First Synx went on a powertrip and killed my character by bleeding her out in a quite disgusting manner and preventing her from healing herself, then none of the WoW Dragonkin are friendly...
I know what you mean, and I'm glad you thought of me as one of the few nice dragons.
As for Synx, while he tried to tell me that he didn't think he was better or different because he was dragonkin, he really had changed; He bitched about how humans are screwing up the whole world and that they should be exterminated, and when I called him he'd make animal noises... I love how he was completely unable to see that HE IS A HUMAN NO MATTER HOW MUCH HE TELLS HIMSELF HE'S A DRAGON AND BETTER THAN HUMANS.
And it's fuckwits like him and all the other arrogant/hypocritical/idiotic/etc. dragonkin that can prove on a daily basis EXACTLY how far down the furry fandoms' rock bottom is. v.-.v; XD *end rant mode*
For example, furries have characters they roleplay, dress up, write, draw, sing, etc. whereas Otherkin have a belief in the realness of their animal soul or being.
To be honest I've noticed this as well... It's really odd how it's actually happening fast (Even on Xbox LIVE)
What has it all come down to?.... I'm scared now...
