Ha.. Got you're attention now huh? lol
Well now that you're reading this, I need someones advice.
I'm at my wits end..
I think it was a year ago my mother fell and broke her rib.. She went to the hospital and all they did was ace wrap it and told her to stay in bed and rest it.. Well.. My mother being the stubborn stupid nincompoop she is.. Refused to stay in bed like she was told.. It didn't heal..
Because Obama pretty much fucked up the health care system..
My mother hasn't been able to do anything about it because she doesn't have insurance.. And the hospitals that will do something about it without insurance treat you like shit.. And it keeps getting worse.. She can hardly move it's so painful.. If she lets it go any longer, I'm afraid the broken rib might puncture one of her organs or something..
I just don't know what to do..
She refuses to even try.. All she does is sit in bed and feel sorry for herself and tell everyone she's in so much pain.. I tell her to call my grandmother and try to talk to her and all she says is " She doesn't care.. She wont do anything because she doesn't care "
I know it's not supposed to be my job to baby and take care of my mother.. Even though most of the time I feel more like the parent.. I try to push her into getting help and all she wants to do is lay in bed and cry and overly obsess about her fucking x-boyfriend ( Who I mind you.. IS MARRIED ).. I mean I let her go on the laptop and when I get it back I see all of these website tabs open of different sites she used to look her boyfriend up.. I mean.. SERIOUSLY!? She's looked him up on Facebook, Google, Wikipedia, Background checks.. It's like.. WTF!
Just.. grr..

Nothing you can do but stop worrying cause it's only causeing you more stress.
It's sad but you can't help people who aren't looking for it and willing to listen.
She's my mother.. It's heart breaking to hear that..
If she's refusing treatment and your consernerned for her health or wel beeing there is always the Quaker act.
They would take her away tho, send to get the help she need's. she just won't be able come out till a doctor gives her the ok.
She complains and says that there is nothing anyone can do.. But she refuses to try and look for someone who can help her..
The Baker Act allows for involuntary examination (what some call emergency or involuntary commitment). It can be initiated by judges, law enforcement officials, physicians, or mental health professionals. There must be evidence that the person:
has a mental illness (as defined in the Baker Act).
is a harm to self, harm to others, or self neglectful (as defined in the Baker Act).
Examinations may last up to 72 hours after a person is deemed medically stable and occur in over 100 Florida Department of Children and Families-designated receiving facilities statewide.
There are many possible outcomes following examination of the patient. This includes the release of the individual to the community (or other community placement), a petition for involuntary inpatient placement (what some call civil commitment), involuntary outpatient placement (what some call outpatient commitment or assisted treatment orders), or voluntary treatment (if the person is competent to consent to voluntary treatment and consents to voluntary treatment). The involuntary outpatient placement language in the Baker Act took effect in 2005. "
If they don't treat her injuries and they could become/are life threatening they are required by law to assist your mom as an american citizen for 72 hours.
None has a antidote for mental disturbing srsly.
P.S. Sorry because im stonedheart.
If I had mental problems, would you say the same thing to me??
