I just learned that one of the most recognizable voice over artists in the industry, Mr. Don LaFontaine, has died at 68 years of age. You may not know the name, but you know the voice... "In a world where..."
Very, very sad. Sad Krahnos! The man had an incredible voice, and was a great human being besides, and movie trailers simply won't be the same without him. *lifts drink* Here's to celebrating the life and career of a great entertainer.

There's a video of him up somewhere on Youtube where they interviewed him and he was talking about how he's had that voice since he was 13, so he used to be the guy that would get his friends out of class by calling in and pretending to be their dad's.
If only I had known about that when he was still alive. I so would've asked him to do one just to fuck with my friends. XD
At least Mel has someone to talk to now.
