I am making up a word: "disuriated".

Kraest Disuriated (noun): Equal parts infuriated and disappointed.
The reason I am disuriated is because I just spent the last hour finding out just how many features of my computer, like the hockey functions, the touch pad functions, audio and video options, graphics options and many, MANY more things are 64x only items.
Yes. I just spent the last two days fucking around with my computer, trying to get 32x Windows to install and all of it was for fucking NOTHING.
I am disuriated.

you are trying to use Windows, well there's your problem!
Let me put it to you this way: Windows is to other OS's as AcidPro is to other DAWs. AcidPro pisses me off, crashes far too frequently and just generally annoys me to hell and back. Other DAWs straight up infuriate me, can't work for shit, have fewer options for mixing and just generally suck.
You wouldn't catch me dead using any other OS on my computers. Every Mac user I know has Windows on a second partition and rarely uses anything besides Windows, because when it comes to creative things, Windows is the only actually usable OS. While it may suck (especially windows 8), every other OS pales in comparison.
that does not preclude me from disparaging it. it's about the only op-sys other than Unix variations that Actually Work.
I mean, SOME people would mention MAC... but how the frak do you right-click if you only have ONE mouse button? Come on! mac isn't a real operating system, it's an over-glorified "smart" phone that isn't that dam smart or flexible.
(I almost types glory-holed smart phone... because your are pretty much fucked if you rely on it for work)
As for the right click on a Mac, there are multiple sensors in the mouse, so clicking on the right side of the mouse gets you a right click.
last time I used a mac, the 386DX40 was the hottest thing on the market.
I guess I'm biased.
this was a memorable computer from the early days of the PC. I used this for more than a few years
of course, my first computer was the TSR 80 Color Computer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TRS-80_Color_Computer
at one point in time I had 6 128k single sided 5 1/2 inch floppy disk drives and dual shotgunned 300 baud modems, giving me one of the largest accessible data blocks and fastest BBS connections in South Easter Connecticut Computer Club!
my first hard drive was 5 Megabytes! and cost almost $5,000.
fuck. I think I'm getting old.
