Furry t-shirt for me

Yo. I've been pondering ways to find other furries in my college. The idea i came up with is to custom make a t-shirt with my char on it. Here's my current concept:
On the front, it'll have Chinchy playing with a cookie. Underneath, it'll say "furries love cookies." On the back, it'll show Chinchy about to be mauled by other cookie-crazed furries. Underneath it'll say "And that gets dangerous..."
I just need opinions as to whether or not this would piss too many "mundanes" off. My idea is for it to a: point me out to anyone in my college who might be a furry and b: possibly get people to inquire me as to what furry is.
however I don't wanna do it only to get rejected at college because of it. So, I would really apreciate you opinions. If you think it's a good idea, please tell me why. Also, if you think it's a bad idea, explain what makes it a bad idea.

Most likely, you'll be attracting weird looks from people you don't know. (perhaps teachers, too! D:)
Seeing as first impressions count the most, if people you don't know see you with a shirt that says "Furries love cookies", most likely, they'll think you're a radical furry/stereotypical furfag and... just not talk to you. >_>
Maybe you'll find a few, but chances are they won't greet you with "Hey I'm a furry, too! Here's my FA.". A client at my gas station job sometimes comes in with a furry shirt, but I don't tell him I have an FA. (planning to, but not until he asks or something >__>) (also one of my coworkers is obviously furry, but he never said he was, and, once again, I don't ask him/give my FA (I mean srsly, the other coworker calls him a wolf and describes his character to me lol)
A safer bet, in my opinion, would be to start a topic/thread in the FurAffinity forums asking people whether or not they live where you do. You might get less "HEY YEA!"s, but you certainly won't get any weird looks for sure.
I know it's not like you're fursuiting, but I'm just telling you it might not work out the way you hope it does :[

makin your own t-shirt issa good idea , but adding text on it involving "furry" isn't .
hmmm... be carefull with what kind of text you add, allot people hate things they don't understand , and furries is one thing
most of them dont understand.
I mostly say that i draw comic likely animals, most of the people react positive on that. :3
