Weirdest thing happened today.

Herpa So, Wednesdays I work early in the morning. I got up a bit early today cause I felt like gettin' to work early.
Morning starts out like any typical Wednesday morning for me.
Customers start comin' in around 7:30 for breakfast, and today we had special.
Egg's Michael with fresh cut bacon strips glazed with our housemade southwestern bbq sauce(which I helped with in choosin' a secret ingredient(totally not braggin' right now)).
All is normal for like an hour.
8:30 comes around, and was talkin' with one of the waitresses out by the register...
And all of a sudden, this big ass red golden retriever comes blazin' through the front door as someone opened it.
Runs up to the first table and tries to steal the bacon off some fat guys plate.
Didn't get the bacon, so he runs over to about two more tables in about 15 seconds, tryin' to steal the bacon.
Not so lucky...until a waiter comes out of the kitchen with a try that happened to have of special.
Golden plows him over.
Score one for the golden.
That bacon was gone within a second of it hittin' the ground. Funny thing is, he didn't touch anything else that fell on the floor.
Then his owner comes in all red faced. Chick looked like she'd been chasin' him for miles.
The whole time I was watchin' the golden tryin' to score some bacon, that commercial for Beggin' Strips was playin' in my head.
I've never seen anythin' like this happen in the five years I've been workin' there. This is definitely goin' to be a story to tell at a party.

I know right? Chick said he bailed on her several blocks down. He came runnin' all that way for all of two big strips of bacon. I bet he was all like http://alltheragefaces.com/img/face...../fuck-yeah.svg when he got what he came for.
