Wow!

I can't believe it's been over half a year since I posted a journal, I think it's safe to say I've lost the flair of it a bit...lol.
I've been on FA regularly since it's been back up, but I notice that I'm not commenting hardly at all, just faving a lot. This is mostly because of college taking up most of my time, not to mention my family and social lives are a little bit thrown off at the moment.
I came out as gay to my parents a few months back and my friends shortly afterward, and it was a tremendously exhilarating yet terrifying experience to say the least. My parents knew for quite some time that I couldn't be 100% straight from stuff they saw at home, so when I told them they weren't particularly shocked or anything. In fact, my mom was extremely supportive and still is, which helps a lot. My dad is cool with it too, and he'll do anything to help me as well. I've only realized recently how amazing my parents are. :)
My friends took it all very well, but since most of my friends are girls it was kind of annoying that they thought I was going to become feminine or something. I like being a guy very much, and I wouldn't do anything to change that. I'm comfortable being masculine, but most of them can't seem to get that. Oh well, maybe they will in time. I'm just happy everyone took it so well and went out of their ways to support me.
So yeah, needless to say these last months have a been a whirlwind of activity.
I hope everyone is doing well! :)

Congratulations! I'm glad that your parents and friends took your coming out very well. I'm sure it is a major relief and it is wonderful that they are there to support you. :)
Yeah, I've been in honors classes for a long time and always hung out with the "right" crowd, so all of my friends are extremely nice and nonjudgmental with lots of issues, so I guess my coming out experience was a lot easier than others'. At least that's something to be happy about. :)
