The Storytelling of Delan - Revived and Updated - New Stories Added! Will Update Occasionally! Hmm. Am I being overanalytic in trying to create some sort of idea that features an equal mixture of human and furries?
Right now I'm just trying to jot down some requirements. (I think this is my way of trying to become more jack of all trades and not stay entirely in human-centric works. Plus any story I do this in will be scifi or fantasy-based anyway. Most of my stuff tends to be lol)
Requirements -
- Must be anthromorphized.
- Species likely to be used:
- Otter, Bear, Bull, Lion, Fox?, Deer, Tiger, Panther, Dog, Wolf, Cat, Moose, etc.
(Mainly species I thought I'd be able to pull off somewhat convincingly. Maybe.)
- Some characters will be human with slight furry heritage:
- tail, genitals, facial features, fur/markings.
(This is just something I'd thought of to throw in -- that some humans are more human but with some animal heritage.)
- Must have elements of fantasy/scifi (Magical powers/Psychic Abilities)
- Academy idea is probably overused but offers a place of learning and stuff
(the academy idea was from a story I read on Yiffstar which is damn good so far - "Academia" but I don't want to rip it off.)
This isn't a complete list yet -- I just started it a few minutes ago lol
Plus I'm sorta realizing that 'furry' pretty much means nothing except external appearances, so that's kinda why I wanted to try to have a go at it sometime. I did try one a long time ago between a Bear and a Minotaur, but it kinda got shot down.
What do you think?

I just use a fake world kind of like ours, with slightly less technology in some areas and maybe more in others, and make up rules as I go. I write about schools a lot but that's because I work at one.
Did you ever read the Dragon Ball books? Before it became Dragon Ball Z with all the flying and grunting and energy blasts? It had a world you might have appreciated.
And more or less I kinda shot it down myself -- it was about a bear who was gonna go out to eat, meet a Minotaur at a bar. The reason it got shot down was someone asked. "Why does he have a self-esteem problem? (dealin with his weight)" I hadn't a clue why, so I dropped it. (it was at the time where I was mainly working with fanfiction and not really getting much progress in original stories.
I do still have the story floating around on the laptop somewhere, I think. lol
