HELLO EVERYBODY ◉‿◉ I just wanted to bump down that other journal because that's a pretty awkward thing to have hanging out on your main page yep
zydala and I got approved for the apartment, so we're moving NEXT WEEK! YAYAYAYAYAY
seriously I am so mad excited. I have been desperate to move out for ages now. ;w;
Of course that means I'll probably be a little difficult to get hold of during that time. So, if around the 20th you try to note me and it takes me a while to get back, no worries! I'll be back..... eventually.
I've saved everybody's refs and stuff so I can do plenty of commission work when I'm not packing or.... unpacking.
on a note-related note, I have a ghost note?! It's been there for like 2 weeks now! FA is telling me I have a note to read but I most certainly do not have any notes to read, I have checked multiple times. It's bothering me. :C
anyway anyway, I'm still cruising for some good tunes!
Here are my current favorites:

Band wise...well, my current haunts have been Caravan Palace (amazing if you like electro swing), Culture Club, WHAM, Toto Coelo, Meatloaf, and Rhapsody of Fire (if you don't mind some epic metal).
But gosh gosh, so happy for you two! I hope all goes well in the coming weeks. ; 3; I'll wish you guys all the luck!
I'm going through all of these recs, so awesome, thankyou! 'w'
On a music side of things, there's Mika (His recent album, The Origin of Love is really nice and catchy :>), Kimbra, Florence + the Machine (F+tM is honest to god my favourite band ever and I have so many emotions over her singing aaaaa) and umm... Well if you are ever looking for instrumental, Two Steps from Hell are my current go-to- Especially their Archangel and Skyworld albums.
If you ever want some of these people's music, let me know and I could send you some albums~ I also run a Legend of Zelda soundtrack blog so if you want any music from there, you just give me a shout <3
Aaaa- I hope I was able to be of any help ;3;
I love Kimbra (especially Settle Down) and Florence + the Machine (Cosmic Love, Rabbit Heart and Drumming are my favs)! 'w' Right now I'm listening to Two Steps from Hell, right up my alley, they are awesome. Thanks so much for the recs!

1.) The studio years of The Beatles (be sure to catch the 2009 remasters! they're like day and night to the 1988 CDs!)
2. & 3) The Who & Manfred Mann's Earth Band (can never make up my mind which band is in which place)
4.) Slade
In any case, their four greatest hits were the three international number ones, Blinded by the light from 1976's The Roaring Silence (the album that many consider to be their absolute artistic peak and apogee so this should probably be the one you first listen to when checking them out), Davey's on the Road again off of 1978's Watch, and Oh Carol, oh (Don't kill it Carol) off of 1979's Angel Station, plus the minor hit, For you from 1980's Chance
also this is my fav song currently! it has some beautiful music n.n

Let's see, more music recommendations... Well for one thing, if you're not already using it, Pandora Internet Radio Is a great way to find new music similar to what you already know and love. :>
Hope there's some stuff you like and haven't heard on this new list! :D
OSTs:
Okami
Katamari Damacy
Kingdom Hearts
Cryamore
The Legend of Dragoon
Bands:
-Death Cab for Cutie We Looked Like Giants, What Sarah Said
(I love these guys, I was in the pit for one of their concerts with a great friend of mine! Just as awesome live as they are in the studio. The radio hits are great, but I'm a mini-hipster and think the random, under-played tracks are better :'>)
-Better Than Ezra I Do, In the Blood
(One of my all time rain-or-shine favorite bands. ;v; I cannot recommend them enough! Other good songs I'm tempted to link are "Closer," "King of New Orleans," "Southern Gürl," and "Desperately Wanting.")
-City and Color The Girl, Hello, I'm in Delaware
(Love their sound, but I only know these two songs. XD)
-Broken Bells The High Road, Meyrin Fields
(Super-group formed by James Mercer of the Shins, and Danger Mouse. Their self-titled album is a great listen, I was hooked as soon as I heard The High Road.:>)
-Margot & the Nuclear So and So's Broadripple is Burning, As Tall as Cliffs
(I think these guys are comparable to Radiohead in some of the other tracks on Not Animal, but they're rather different at the same time. It's hard to explain. XD "A Children's Crusade on Acid" is another great song, as well as "Real Naked Girls" and "Pages Written on a Wall")
I loved Burning Pile, I plan on checking out the rest of the album as soon as I get the opportunity! /);3;(\
Meet me in the Red Room was cool, sounds like a great song to draw porn to. (Which I notice, you have done on your adult account BD)
The FFXIII song was pretty nice, but not my favorite FF song... I think that would have the be The Four Fiends from FFIV Incidentally, have you listened to Distant Worlds, the orchestrated versions of Final Fantasy music? I was lucky enough to get to see the show performed in New York, and I gotta say it was incredible... If you love Final Fantasy and orchesta, I think you'd really like them c:
I bobbed my head to Ghost, pretty rad song B>
Laughing with a Mouthful of Blood was really interesting, I love the vocals in it and the lyrics too. :D
It was a bit hard to make out the music on the Nurse Cafe video, so I looked up a recorded version first to get a better listen on it. Then I realized, "Oh fuck this is the guy that did the theme for Paranoia Agent" and spent the rest of the night watching out for Lil' Slugger. :'D
I'm not a huge megaman fan, but this song was still pretty cool. Reminded me of Journey, and I Fight Dragons. XDDD
Thanks for sharing all of these!

It's fucking beautiful. Found it through someone else on FA. Figured I'd help spread it around.
Kishi Bashi might be in your boat:

They aren't beautiful or anything grandiose like that, but they've got a bangin' good style and have some hilarious bits.
And if you like OST's, Journey is always a must-see.
AAAAAAAAAND for a bit of random
