I actually got a random note out of nowhere in my inbox a couple days ago that was related to what you just talked about (people trying to make you look bad, etc.), with links and such. I glanced at it for a few seconds, then just simply deleted it afterwards, being sure it was mostly spam/trolling material. :/

Yeah, it really is best to just ignore such junk in the end.
