Ok, so first of all, I'd like to give a huge shoutout to my buddy  kdubbz , because he and his boyfriend opened up their wonderful home to me and let me stay there for the weekend. They really are great people, and I'm so happy I finally got to meet one of my best friends in real life after talking online for two years, and his boyfriend. We'll definitely be hanging out more in the future. But now, on to the convention!

When  kdubbz and I first came to the hotel, we were a bit overwhelmed by all the activity in the lobby. This was our first convention, and knew we had to get to the registration desk, but we also had to meet up with  nightfiretiger , so once we were all registered and met up, we decided it was time to well.. figure out what to do. So... we looked at the events, and decided to mingle. I had a total blast cosplaying david tennant and 'suiting' and would walk up to people and suiters alike, my greeting usually involving the sonic screwdriver or wibbley wobbley timey wimey stuff. Some of them didn't know how to react, but it was still a pretty great icebreaker. Not to say walking up and talking with people wasn't just as fun, but it certainly made things more interesting. We ended up hanging out a lot with  kiba ,  Dakotawoof ,  silverbatmarch , and generally just wandering around and meeting really cool people, and I definitely made a lot of friends the second day, too. We got panera with  r00ffles , and  izanagiroo , after playing a game of dominion in the board games lounge. After that we ended up hanging out with  isrisu , and spawned an inside phrase of YOGOG. Its a secret phrase. shhh. But we also hung out a lot with  Begger , which was a great amount of fun, then we hit the fursuit dance comp with  kiba , which, wow. Those were some sweet moves. We ended up at the dance, and just sort of had fun for a little while, goofing off and dancing with  Kiba , and ended up in the lobby with  Reese_GSD , then moved out to the patio, where I met  Meehsa , who I kind of sort of stand-cuddled with. That was cool, haha. The third day was no less fun, if a little less energetic. We hung out first with  Martog , who was really awesome and went along with my doctor cosplay, and  animal16365 , we got dinner with  Martog , and just mingled more, and on our way out of the convention, ended up meeting  Ruuqo who we talked to on the way out. I met so many awesome people, in and out of suit, and I forgot to get a lot of FAs, but this was definitely a blast. Long journal, but this was definitely a great time. I don't have pcd, thankfully, but I am a little melancholy because I miss seeing so much good energy and friendliness in one place, and I really think its great that 21,000 dollars was raised for charities, and that most of those cats found homes. I look forward to next year, and MFF, and I'll remember to grab more people's deets, yo.
