Ever held your art close to your chest?

Cuz you weren't sure if you wanted to get that feeling of one-upmanship with yourself?
Well, after a couple of years hiatus, I'm going to try to start posting steady sketches, and if I have the patience, more finished stuff, practicing with new techniques. I'm coming up on my 10 year anniversary for when I first wanted to become an artist like this. W00t!
I'll be posting some of the stuff in my backlog on and off for a while, so I hope you like dirty stuff. :D

And I don't mind one-upping myself, although I still look back at some of my shots and wonder how I ever got them (I'd generally say they were luck). I hold back mainly because I'm not sure anybody is particularly interested.
