Okay so I'm going to create a list of things to do so I'm able to see the goals I have for this group. It's also good that everyone else can see what I'm doing. I'll be checking stuff off by striking through it. I might add things to the list as well. I've definitely been consistently updating, modifying, and adding to this list of goals as they evolve and become more concrete. If anyone has any suggestions by all means comment here and I'll add them. It's not in any particular order but I might try to half organize it so that it shows changes that are most imminent at the top. Objects listed with a * are things that are currently being worked on. (Some of this requires research that I've never done before. So if it seems like I'm a little slow, that's why. I'm learning too! -Sable)

Main Goals For All EncryptoFurs
- Encourage the use of encryption for browsing, data storage, and communication.
- Educate about information technology, encryption, digital rights, and intellectual property law.
- Raise awareness for legislation that relates to information technology, property law, and digital rights from a multi-country paradigm.
- Clarify the process by which legislation is passed and inform the masses of easy and efficient ways to keep track and make their voices heard.
- Facilitate activism as it pertains to the goals of EncryptoFurs.

Current Short Term Goals
- Determine viability of StartPage in light of US based hosting; research alternatives.
- Determine solution to intercept Firefox data leaks.
- Reorganize Goals page to clarify short, medium, and long term goals.
- Get the name of the surveillance program that was briefly discussed upon the revelation of PRISM that recorded MAC address and meta data.
- Launch Fuzzy Padlock With Ears Initiative
- Post Roadmap for next 30 days
- Complete Essay: "Government Surveillance, Personal Data, & Structural Violence: Our Lives As Commodities"

Administration
- Set up a temporary description of the group.
- Create a tagline.
- Spice up the profile with some BB Code.
- Create a Twitter account.
- Create a SoFurry Group.
- Create a Profile ID.
- Create a short blurb describing what being an EncryptoFur means.
- Create an appropriate disclaimer. (What being an EncryptoFur is not / Rules)
- Create policy on submissions and favorites.
- Streamline the Announcements section by creating art and using it as a notification system.
- Display at least three important announcements on the front page about the goings on of the internet.
- Incorporate hashtags...somewhere...to help people keep track of topics. (Tracking Topics?)
- Create Twitter Account for tracking news. (Dafuq did I just do? Convert this goal to making lists on ONE twitter account. )
- Create header link bar for internal links.
- Reorganize bookmarks to better display what needs to be done. (yeah, just somethin I needed to do for myself)
- Modify the main profile to be multi stylesheet friendly.
- Get an icon.
- Get a better Profile ID.
- Convert the Main Goals into a map that explicates the process by which they will be fulfilled.
- Find a way to properly label artwork as Copyleft, Kopimi, or CreativeCommons on FA. (Credit to snap for the idea even though he may not know it)
- Determine useful tags on FA, list in order of most use
- Add Tempora, XKeyscore, PRISM,and others to the Bills and Laws page.

Content Creation
- Create parallel Weekly Link Lineup (3? 4? 5? Links and a description)
- Set a release date for the weekly EncryptoFurs Journal upon reaching 10 watchers.
- Set up 4 topics for the journal in advance.
- Obtain 1 reliable correspondent/content creator and have active for at least 30 days.
- Obtain 1 reliable correspondent/content creator and have active for at least 30 days.
- Obtain 1 reliable correspondent/content creator and have active for at least 30 days.

Ongoing Maintenance/Projects
- Maintain a Journal that properly categorizes a list of helpful links to better help lurkers.
- Maintain a journal that will show people what bills and laws they should be aware of as it pertains to the goals of EFurs.
