Don't get too excited, only HR2 at the mo and slugging around Rathalos gear, long way to go for anything acceptable.

I am about to get to HR4 and i'm still using my Rathalos gear, your armor is actually just fine. You just take 2 or so less hits than anyone with high rank armor but once you learn attacks that won't even be an issue.

Problem is its my only set around that level, slapping Lag around for a few more plates to finish a set of that just so I have some elemental variety in protection.

Ah. Well I hope you manage to craft it. Just so you know a lot of monsters in HR3 use fire attacks so armor that serves to protect against fire is also a very good idea but I think you have that covered with Rathalos.
