i was having alot of trouble with mine too, i had to install a different bamboo program, and it depends what program she uses i can't use alot of programs either photoshop, OC where the way to go with mine, sometimes you just need the program open in the background (eg. bamboo program open in background) for it to work, hope i helped a little
