My one complaint for the 1st season is that they used short hair low content dogs/wolfdogs.

Apparently I was not alone in this complaint as the 1st episode of season 2 features a long-legged, coarse-furred, yellow-eyed. actual grey wolf at the very least a true high-content wolfdog.
