Well, I don't know you well enough to form an opinion. But it's definitely not okay for them to be ridiculing you at school. That kind of behaviour wouldn't be accepted for 2 seconds in the adult world, and it shouldn't be accepted in the teenage world either.

It's okay to reach out for help, and document it and bring it to the attention of higher-ups if the problem isn't solved. Here's one example:

the stereotypical "nerd" can be see as a socially awkward person, or a person with great intelligence. Personally, I hate stereotypes, because I was one of many victims fallen prey to it... I'd say you have great intelligence! You have natural leadership and talent, and you are continuously improving, building and polishing it. No one is without fault, but I see very little within you.

I think of you as an honest and good person. It may only appear that you just identify with other furries and comp nerds, but that is NOT true! How about all your friends outside of all that? My brother is another example (non-furry-history-buff). They just see one side of your life, but little do they know, you aren't just some flat character in a chapter of a book called "High School!" I see you as unique, and if I were you, I wouldn't believe a single negative word about you, said through another person's mouth. You are an awesome person Alpha. You do not deserve to be ridiculed. (No one does.) Their attitude toward you is unacceptable, if anything...they are jealous of your success.
