A Depressing Movie

Has anybody seen 'Seeking a Friend for the End of the World'? This movie... is supposed to be a comedy!? I nearly cried when it was over! This ranks as the second most depressing movie I've ever seen; the first being the 2000 remake of 'On the Beach' (which I saw around 10-12 years ago).
I'm not saying it's bad, it just unexpected to see it turn out the way it did.

It sounds like one of those dark comedies. The name alone implies that its going to be eerie and depressing and "edgy". Its everything but funny in my opinion.

It had some humor in it, but not enough to be labeled a comedy in my opinion. And honestly, I was expecting a less tragic ending (hoping the asteroid would go "poof!" or change direction at the last second).
