They're just fun extra goals =)

But at least with the ps3, the achievments will actually have value =p When ps3's Home comes out sometime next year, the achievments will have a Home money value assigned to each one, and you can spend that on buying decorations for your house in Home, or upgrading your current house to a larger one, buying more cloths and accessories for your Home avatar, and a few other things. Just like gamerscore, but actually worth more then just bragging rights =p

yeah, as funny as this is, this could fuel more hate fur us by glorifying the killing of furries, though then again, this could just be a way for anti furs to vent their hate on us by killing digital furries and not real ones, its the referances on GTA 4 thats worrisome because for one thing, they got it all wrong, they used the stereotypes that gets slapped on us all the time >_<.

Think it's worth it? So far, it seems avid PS3 fans have done alright without them.

Extra goals are always a good thing to have. Helps keep players interested in there games longer then without them.

they call them trophy's and most future games wont support them until later on like Fallout 3 wont have them when released but will later on

Yup, and most other games that have already been released will never get achievments. It's all dependant on the game company to add them or not
