For my entire life, I always thought it was spelled "judgement" :c And today, Microsoft Word corrected me.
It just looks weird without the "e" D: I mean, we don't spell "movement" like "movment", do we? The "e" just belongs there! We're not talking about "parchment" here. That's different. There's no "e" in "parch". "Judge" does have an "e" on the end, just like "move". So I think the "e" should remain when the word "judgment" is used.
End of rant.
