Huge problems. Please help!

Ok. So at FWA I took some storyline commissions. I have all but 2 completed right now and something happened.
My thumb drive with those commissions on it became corrupt. I have no idea what happened but everything is gone. If anybody has any idea on how to recover a corrupted drive please let me know as soon as possible.
If not, I'm sorry and if you remember buying a commission from me please let me know and I will do what ever I can to refund your money or I'll start from scratch with your work. Please let me know.

Try that.
Basically what I call a safety in Windows which prevents a driver from loading a corrupt device, Knoppix a flavor of Linux will load the device, that is how I got access to a clients external hard drive and pulled several hundred gigabytes off of it, save about 3 files which were corrupt.
