okay so what i have so far:

.they have brush like teeth but they are able to eat meat along with fruits and veggies, their diets consist of; fish, grubs, fruit, small birds, and things as such aka they are omnivores.

.their nostrils are above the eye (those little black things i draw)

.they live in grazzy knolls and where trees are located but not many

.there pupils can change color

.some will be found having a larger throat which enables them to make a deep cooing sound; usually used during mating.

.at birth they are all the same gender but once they mature their bodies will pick which gender to become depending on the mates available

.the young are known as scowels or skowelings, at this time up until they are about 3 human years they will be a light grey-ish green color, their markings will be the same as when they will be; when they mature; but they will be in a lighter/darker green than the pale grey green they are all colored.

.they have no tail bones meaning they do not and never have had tails.

.they dwell in holes in the ground, when finding a home they try to stay near streams and small forests for protection and for food

.these animals do not hibernate, they migrate like birds, during the cold months they travel to the mountain passes where there are warm caves for them to settle down and hunt in the clear blue pools of water; where fish have evolved and adapted to the dark and partially empty water.

this is what i have so far. this is a closed species and completely mine.

if i decide to give you one youll have to credit the species to me and say its closed, i know thats kinda annoying but im sorry D:
