If you ever want to really know what depression feels like, read these:

It's meant to have a comedic twist, but it still tells the story and gets the point across.

Only thing I wish that the comic had covered.. Anti-depressants aren't a cure.. they just help you grasp the emotions again so that you can then use that to motivate yourself to do things. There is no 'magic fix', no matter how many people say there is. Well, I stand corrected.. Two things I wish it had covered... relapses from 'recovery'. That slide back downhill.. it's much like the beginning though.. you start with the sadness and the crying over things that you know you shouldn't even socially be upset over. .. then you hate yourself for being sad over it, and the voice yells at you, and then you hate everything around you because you "don't deserve it or reality".. and then the feelings melt away again, slowly, until you're empty. Thankfully, at least for me, if I catch it on the downslide, I can help talk through things, either with Kit, or with a good friend.. and keep that nasty voice from ever coming out to cause so many problems.
These are definitely comics I'm going to keep spreading around. I think they're going to make it a lot easier for people to talk about serious depression and depressive disorders without it making everyone feel super awkward. Cause, you know, severe depression exists and can effect anyone.
