20 things you may not know about me.

- I am often mistaken for a girl when I first meet people on the internet (even on other sites or games where I don't have female avatars).
- There are two adult African Lions in an enclosure at my school.
- I've only had 4 alcoholic drinks in my whole life (all legally obtained and consumed). A margarita, a Tom Collins, a strawberry daiquiri, and like half a pint of Sam Adams Boston Lager (beer tastes icky so I didn't finish the whole pint). No they weren't all on the same night either :P
- I can play the piano, the bass, the guitar, and the clarinet. I used to be able to play the baritone and the tuba as well.
- I don't have a smartphone.
- There's a mirror in my room and sometimes when I'm really bored I make faces at myself in it.
- I was clinically diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) when I was six years old. I don't recall ever taking medication for it.
- When I was in fourth grade I was so spaced out and distracted that I left an entire math test completely blank except for a little doodle of a helicopter, which prompted my teacher to get me some appointments with the counselor (who also had ADD) to help me learn to stay focused.
- I still zone out sometimes but thankfully I notice when I'm doing it during something important, like taking a test or driving. :P
- The longest I've ever been outside the U.S. is one hour, in Canada.
- My family and I lived in Michigan for two years.
- I'm not terribly afraid of heights (unless it's really really high), but I'm scared of high speeds.
- I used to be afraid of speaking in front of a group until I took a speech class in college.
[center]- I was a computer science major for my first three semesters of college.
- Je parle français un peu.
- I've driven for five years and have never had a major ticket or accident.
- I've had a few dreams where my body was female.
- I once worked a ten hour shift at my job on literally no sleep the night before and I never took a break to eat (I don't know what got into me. It's not like I couldn't have taken a break. I just didn't).
- Even though we're all guys (and straight ones at that), my friends and I go clothes shopping just for fun almost every time we hang out. :P

Ya I got that ADD too. Often my conversations sound jumpy and unconnected. People with ADD are the best kind of people. I love my bed.

OP
I've never thought of ADD as a disability, or even a disorder. It's just one of those little blessings that makes life easier to laugh at. :P
