Ugh...so as I sit here typing this, it is 4:30...AM. Why the hell am I up at an hour I didn't know existed until I hit Jr. High?

For the almighty god-damned dollar. Yeah, my job has... 'requested' I come in at 6 in the morning. Now, when you look at it from a distanced view, getting up at early isn't too bad. I mean, I can put in a 7 or 8 hour shift and be home before 1 or 2 in the afternoon. Score.

Until you realize that none of your friends are done their school/work until 4 or 5. Not so score.

I know what's going to be said, 'Kaar, why don't you quit?'. I have. The reason that every shift I've had this week has been a 6AM is because they are milking me for all I'm worth. And of course, being the honourable folf I am, I said 'sure'. I have a personal code of ethics that makes my brain override my body's desire for sleep! And that code says it's bad to ditch an employer outright.

So I've got at least three more days of getting up this early. Where's the bloody coffee.... -.-
