Mine's the name of a character who's mentioned only once in one of my favorite fantasy novels. I fell in love with the name and have used it ever since. (Shortening it to terry typically)

Is it pronounced 'Ter-seal' or 'Ter-shell'?

Personally ive always gone with "ter-see-el" though everyone i talk to pronounces it differently. (Hence the shortening to terry)

The net handle Arl was randomly typed after someone had my sona name already.

But the name Ru the otter came up with while trying to name my hyper little OC. I had a moment where I saw a mental image of a chibi version shaking his fist at someone who stole his coffee that morning while yelling "You will rue the day!" But he was so upset that he screwed it up and instead yelled 'You will rue the otter! RUE IT!" So I changed his name from the Kyle I had picked to Ru, and affectionate nickname based on his last name of Rhulain... Yeah he's a Mossflower Otter... >> What? Blind character, books meant for blind children. It makes seance.

No, but someone already had Ru, so I couldn't use it. In frustration I spammed the keyboard and meh Arl will do. I pretend its an intentional acronym Anthros are Realy Loveable.

Mirror came from me watching others dance and then mimicing their moves (to my ability) and also when downloading stuff, you always have the option of downloading frim mirror sites. I used mirror as a name in inline chat sites, then became a fur and used it as my name.

Ah, a normal net name before becoming your fur name. :)
