A relative of mine was vacationing in Vero Beach and the only day she could see me was the day I had work at 9am. So I woke up 2 pm Thursday, went to work 7am Friday, got out of work after 25 hrs sleep dep. drive north for 40 minutes car starts breaking and accelerating slower than normal, something smelled like it was burning. Smoke starts pouring out of the right side front wheel 4.4 miles away from my destination. Relatives had been drinking and where uncomfortable driving. Had to wait an hour and 10 for a taxi. Phone is about to die, have to hitch a ride and spend $39 on a charger else I have no way to make contact. So I'm stuck here for the night in the old timeshare I spent weeks of my summer life as a kid in. The smell of the ocean breeze. Things have changed. There are all these young people here, it used to just be patents and their snot nosed kids. Holy shit, those teens are the snot nosed kids! Hopefully the mechanic won't try and fuck me for replacing the seized caliper. I also have to be to work by 5. I'm 30 hours in and not tired.
