Hey guys, how things going for you all?
As you can tell from my last submission date, I again was in an art slump due to trying to find work and junk. However, thats changing.
A week or two ago, I was called to an interview with Baxter. Yes thats right, I worked with them before, but Walmart called me shortly because they had an electronics sales associate opening. What they did not tell me was that I was a seasonal worker. Asked if its temp or permanent, and they said it can lead to temp, but no word of being seasonal. So even though it was really fun working in electronics, games, and other stuff I'm really knowledgeable about, I felt I was lied to. Telling me three days before, saying they cannot keep seasonal workers.
Anyways, after the interview, I did some pre-physical and drug tests, and Thursday they called again to be ready for my job orientation along with other new workers. I felt relieved I have a job again, and this time I'm paid a dollar more. Last time I was referred by hiring agency so the pay was alright, but now i'm hired directly so i get extra green in the hour making the 35 minute drive worth it.
So now I feel more motivated bit by bit to get my art gears cranking, cuz this time I want to save enough to go to AWA in Georgia, buy a "decent" training manual car for me and my brothers to practice, and then help
come here for the final time. Also my school bills....least fave thing to spend money on XD
I'm still slow at this point to doing my main works that i owe, but due to good news happening to me for now, i'll try to work on doodles to keep my mind and arm flowing again. So again to people waiting on art, I'm sorry that I'm taking a while to work on it, but I been really appreciating you're patient and understanding.
I'll start my orientations AKA free payday this coming Tuesday. Also I'll be working 3rd shift so it might be "different" but I should get use to it. Honestly 3rd shift feels I have more personal time compared to 2nd shift last time.
