Need ideas for a paw related horror story!

My buddy Hunter Drayziar and me were chatting one day, and suddenly we came up on a titel for a good foot related horror story: "The Drayziar House". The basic plot is the following:
A young couple, Craig and Bess, just got married, but the marriage isn't really going too well, as they are quite different personalities. Craig is a young student, Bess a young model. He is a bit awkward and shy, she is classy and damn fussy. The shy guy and the arrogant bitch. Beauty and the beast.
To "rescue" the whole marriage thing they decided to spend some days at a vacation home, situated in the woods of Louisiana: The Drayziar House!
What our couple don't know: the area around the mansion is haunted. Over the years multiple bodies had been found, all suffocated, but no one knows how and by what exactly! (Of course, as this story is paw related, the evil beings use footsmother techniques to kill their victims)
The story starts with our couple on their way to the house. They're in their car, arguing again, the atmosphere between them is a bit dense, and the viewer immediately realizes: they really are a bad match.
Then the house is shown. Sunset, the forests around it, romantical, it seems so perfect...
Then Bess finds snakes inside the house! Oh my GAWD! Scream! Terror! Argh! Of course she orders he "beloved" husband to kill the snakes... and from that moment the horror begins! Strange noises, strange footprints, claw like scratches in the wooden walls, all that shiz.
One day the boy who usually brings milk and eggs doesn't show up. Craig finds him in a nearby forest, face blue, eyes open wide, obviously suffocated. The first victim.
And so on. What I need are ideas! Any of you furry guys out there who love horror stuff and can put in ome ideas about what can happen, scenes, settings, all that?

Maybe some trap things?
(Even though you technically can't celebrate it and you broke laws of nature to achieve it. Oh well, what can you do?)

Though to be fair, feet don't come across as particularly scary :O
