Why do I love all these more than the post animation? Quality over Quantity... Sure Hopfuls has popufurs in it but the gulp scenes past the first are all instant black screens...
They happen so fast that you really don't know if they were gulped or instantly transported into another dimension that was VL's stomach...
Getting sick of seeing this advertised so strongly when it's by far not the best animation the vore community has seen. And that's my opinion, do with it whatever you want.
Just because they are sketched makes them no less than hopful's... They are detailed where they need to be detailed and when it counts unlike with the animation that's been circulating as 'The best vore animation ever'. As I stated, there is one scene that shows an actual vore 'process' and the others are all quick black screen assumptions that they got vored... until the end when it shows them in the belly.
Honestly I liked hopful's earlier works better because they held the same kind of quality that Slate's animations had or any of the animations I listed for that matter.
The story is there, the scene's are played through but they aren't rushed... Hopful's animation was good I'm not saying it wasn't well done. But it was rushed and cut corners which killed its quality... which is why I made the statement of quality over quantity.
The animation itself is actually really good. In addition to being finished, it's well-paced and cinematic, which just isn't something you see often in vore animations. There are also a bunch of different camera angles and scene switches, and it tells a story. It is a good animation, but you are correct in saying that Slate's animations fulfill their purpose better. They're gratuitous and do what they set out to do without getting bogged down in extra details.
Incidentally, none of the animations in question hit my vore buttons, so this is from a purely artist/animator perspective.
But to say something is the best without it being broken down and critique by people who aren't super fan's is a little much. >.<
That, and we aren't aware of all the vore animations out there. To say this is "the best" is presumptuous and kinda silly even if it did serve its purpose perfectly.
I can fully agree with that, though I still don't think it earns this animation the crown of being the best vore animation sadly.
And yeah, I can agree with that; while it's one of the best animations out there that contains vore, it's definitely not the best animation in terms of enjoying the vore itself. (Of course, that's starting to get into opinion; at least it doesn't push my "vore buttons" incredibly well, though I know there are a fair amount of furs out there who love large preds quickly snarfing down a group of smaller prey.)
But I regress, that is just my opinion and how I would have worked things. I don't have the patience for animation I've learned over the years so I'll just enjoy what animations I get to see haha.
As for favorites I've got no idea. Interactive ones are fun and there's been a great surge of flash stuff in the past while. Really looking forward to Rockk's flash too, if that gets done, the preview was great. :3

I also like these by Slate:

And this other one from Hopfel:

This is one of my favorites. It's not the best by any means, and you have to search to find the vore, but it's nice, simple, and fun. "Favorite" is very subjective. :P

First one has the whole hypnosis to make your prey willing thing going, which is a great concept.
Second one synchronizes movement with the pred and the prey, which is a really neat technique that I wish more artists did!
