Project Scrapped

So a while back, I'd commissioned a writer to write up an idea submission I had for Corruption of Champions. Long story short, the commission fell through.
Both Fen and another writer volunteered to pick it up, and they're amazingly awesome for it. Seriously, they're awesome. The problem is that I'm just not comfortable with anyone working on it for free, and so I asked them not to. Besides, at this point, I'm a bit bitter about the whole thing and don't think I'd enjoy it much anymore.
And the end result is that I'm down $100, and now have only negative associations with the original project idea. Which is a shame, because I love monkey girls.
Oh well. =(

FA+

*snuggles*
but it didn't fit Fen's universe. Instead, I started my
own universe. (I just can't code the bloody thing...)
steep for a writing commission, though I don't really
know how much the average writing commission goes for.
Is there no way to get a refund if the writer was unable to
complete it?
I can't do Flash though. Been thinking of using something like Ren'py... Not sure.
