Had this dream about this guy that tries to enter this competition of robot fighting with his dad after his mother dies.His 3 friends cheer them on and they do really well.They make it to the semi finals and lose though because their design was flawed.So whilst trying to create a new robot the father becomes ill and passes away.Leaving the son by himself.He attends the funeral alone cause he doesnt want his friends to worry about him.When he gets back to working on the robot with a new design of his own he re-enters the competition.He does fairly well but still loses.He tries over and over again until eventually an event comes up for a direct challenge to the champion.Well the guy takes him up on the offer but all the guy does is make fun of him.Everyones just laughing and then the guy is like beating the champ until a fluke comes up and he loses again.Well this time he gets offered for a rematch right there and then.But rejects it cause he needs to redesign his robot.But because he doesnt have a car he asks for a ride home atleast and even gets denied that.So while walking out of the stage his 3 friends come to him.Asking if he's okay and why he isnt going to try again.He simply replies"It's not the design thats the problem.Its me."He breaks down and cries as they realize that he's by himself.The reason his father isn't coming is he's dead.He's been living alone this whole time.He falls to the ground and starts screaming "My mom's dead.I just lost my father and now this!?Why are you doing this to me god!?"Well the friends decide to help him out this time even though they arent very good with robots and they take him home where they all join to make a new design.Even their local cop is all...Mkay cool I'll help too cause I know of your father.Well they finish the bot and are about to bring it to the stadium to challenge the guy again a few weeks later but thats when I woke up :T
