Strip Pai Gow Statistics!
So last night I released Strip Pai Gow Poker and it seems to be pretty well received by most people.. :D But this game has been spying on you! Every time a game is started, won, or lost, a bit of data is posted back to the server.
Check out the statistics here:
http://nanimoose.furryhome.com/spg/stats.php
There's two things that surprised me in the stats. As of this writing, most people actually stuck around and played the game to a win or lose, and only about 30% of plays seem to have been abandoned. I was afraid this number would be more like 80%!
It's been played over a thousand times since last night, that's fantastic! Win percentage seems to be about 9% if you ignore the abandoned games, which is lower than I'd hoped.
But the most surprising thing is that people overwhelmingly choose to play as Raz. He's picked twice as much as the next most popular character, which is Nani. I wonder what the reason is? Maybe most of my watchers are dudes that want to play as a dude, but may think that playing as me would be a bit weird? That's my guess, I dunno.

But if they're picking the one they want to see naked, are they playing to lose? That would explain the low win percentage! X]
No idea how you'd play to lose when you can only sabotage the small hand really due to big hand having to be higher value XD
Now to play to lose :3
If you want to make it harder on the players to see the rest of the art (make us work for it) you should have the players not select a character to represent themselves and instead select which characters they're playing against. That way you only get to see the stripping if you win ;p
anyways Loved this game.
you should update the game at some point! its really a lot of fun xD
- There are some timing issues on slower systems, I'm pretty sure I can solve these.
- I'd like to get it working fully on iOS and Android (docs on how to do decent webapps for these are pretty sketchy tho).
- I may add another pair of characters. I'm thinking Becky, because she'd get drunker (thus playing weaker) as she gets nakeder; and anthro Berry-Blue, because horse cock.
I played Nel because tabby kitty!
I lost because I suck :P
To play to a loss (or, rather, playing for a loss) means you get to see the character you picked through the entire sequence, so I can imagine some may have played the character they wanted to see naked and then threw the game on purpose. While I was trying to win when I played, it seems to me that being the last player standing in the round would be quite tedious since the game is very luck dependent.
anyway I really easy loose as Jaz , but stay in my pants as Raz at second run XD
It's pretty fun!
but yeah, luck of the draw can happen to anybody
Because I barely know the rules to Poker and wanted her nekkid. :D~
I think I could have won but after playing for a while I just wanted to see Nani naked so I tried to lose, which actually took a while! And then I lost again as the other two male (and half male) characters. It's often in strip games that people tend to lose! Especially if all their opponents are female when they really just wanted to see a guy undress. I picked Nani first and Raz the third/final time. They all seemed like neat characters. Maybe people already saw Nani in the preview so they wanted to try someone new. (:
My webserver doesn't have a database or anything so I'm just using flat files to store my stats. :P
Also every time I've played with Nani as an AI he's lost ;p
>_>
Dammit, I've said too much ~flees~
Can say it's quite interesting that you kept results of it :P Anyhow, will resume playing my first round now. Will say however my first round seemed really derp. Everyone had a "king" or "queen" high and a pair of aces or some shit, while the best I got was a pair of 2's, which I had to keep in my big hand as I couldn't outscore the large one xD The game style seems quite interesting as a whole though. Personally not too much for this type of games however. Which is a bit odd considering I like most types of TCG and board games heh. But I can see that I didn't know all the everythings might've made it harder for me to play. Like, what was worth what in what way? I read the rules, but still fizzled xP It was however amusing imo. Quite chill game.
As for graphics, they were quite neat as well, from what I've seen so far. The chairs don't make too much sense though heh. And guess character personality was included in how they "stripped" per say :P (can see someone having slight issues playing with a hat in the way though xP) Seems like a superior tactic was fagging with having a strong small hand while just out waiting everyone else. (then again, that wasn't overly allowed due to the rules, but one could focus mainly on one hand. Also, might just be me failing, but how does a pair outscore a flush? or no, wait nevermind, I had queen and king, it makes sense again.)
And haha, tbh, had to admit I went "wat? xD" to some strips that popped up hehe. Like, can see it hard playing as you're faced backwards xP However liked that the girls seemed erect as well. Some perhaps a bit "posy" per say, but heck, if it fits the characters :P And huh? Isn't 1,2,3,4 and a king a flush or something? fff- I don't get how the x to y (ex: 1-5) works xD And awr... slight sadface that not all girls showed their package xP (but then again, it could possibly fit character. Though, just me, but like said, all penises shown, and were erect. But eh, don't mind me too much :P Just my usual mumbling heh) (and haha xD My second round, everyone lost a pair of clothing, despite that everyone had (the least) pair of jacks, some even having flushes hehe.) But yeah, all and all, it's a neat game. Must have taken a bit to program I can imagine :3 Found it rather hard though, but it's mostly luck based so... and heh, during my last round, everyone won over the dealer :P (on a side note, a certain butt flashes lost every time I played amusingly enough heh) And won my last time as well, after a long ass "back and forth" xD
Haha, yes, Jaz and Bess are more interested in being flirty than playing the game well >_> but Raz is at least as flirty on the male side of things, and Peggy takes the game perhaps a bit too seriously.
And yeah, it's harder to have a reasonable pose that shows the girl bits as opposed to the boy bits, especially in a sitting-down position. That's just how things are structured.
Hehe. We can hope she's not a sore loser, as then we'd have a sore winner xD *rimshot*
I actually did some pondering quickly, and can say that a "pouting with elbows on knees and cupping chin with hands, lets parted" would show the goods. Or a "slightly huddled up, arms wrapped around the legs" could also expose their goods. Or a "legs parted, leaning on the side, resting head on a hand, elbow on the chair looking grumpy". But like said, I trail off easily heh. On a side note, so far all I've spoken to that have made a game with "x has to be there" have had me tell them alternatives, and with them going "Oh yeah... that would have worked" :P (not insinuating anything. Just find it kind of amusing x3)
On a side note, would personally have found it really amusing if Raz had been flaccid due to "too many girls around me..." :P
Now if only the cards weren't so shitty :P
