Quickie Calfur Journal and Probable Fursuit Portraits/Badges

I'll make this brief. I may or may not have gone to Califur, according to my legal counsel (Saul Goodman). Had a few good times, took pictures, didn't suit up as often as I'd like to have, hosted a photography panel which had to be changed significantly at the last moment by external problems, and antagonized a guy that was provoking me. Interestingly enough, I'm not surprised that I haven't been ratted out for that drama. In unrelated news, I think this might be my last Califur, since it's not really worth my time and effort to attend this convention. Economically speaking, I'm putting more effort into trying to attend Califur than I am getting as satisfaction in return.
In a related note, I bought a couple of 430EX IIs from a nearby camera shop. Why? While having Alien Bees are great to have in a studio setting, I'd like to have something a little more portable. Something that can be useful for environments where outlets are not an options. In situations where I...could...take fursuit/non-fursuit portraits. Which begs the question: Would anybody be interested in a portraits. Right now, I'm pretty much limited geographically to southern California, Las Vegas and the general Clark County area, Arizona, and perhaps some northern California events like Frolic (should I decide to attend). Although I am considering hauling all my equipment to all future conventions like Rain Furrest, Further Confusion and, if I'm lucky enough, Megaplex. Which, by the way, will never come to fruition. I'd be lucky to attend RF at this point.
Califur photos coming soon. I'll be posting the link shortly.
