Musings of a fluffy wuffie.
My mom backed into my car without even trying to brake and then drove off. The right front quarter panel is dented in just behind the wheel well and the steering has even more play in it than before.
She KNEW I was parked just in front of the garage and she had plenty of space to avoid hitting me. She even WATCHED me put my car where I did because the CL&P technician needed to park where I usually do to get to the wires going into the house.
Her whole excuse is "You know how you get sometimes where you aren't paying attention." No, I don't know that because when I drive, I at least look around and will actually look behind myself when I back up.
Either she foots the repair or I'm totaling her fucking mini.

One of the first (and third, fifth, seventh...) things they taught us in drivers ed is to pay attention to everything at all times. If there was a kid behind her, and they drove this home, she could be facing manslaughter charges. Better than damaging her car, call the police and report it as a hit and run, because that's exactly what it is.
